Not since the days of Henry Ford, W.K. Kellogg, and Herbert Henry Dow has Michigan experienced such a strong culture of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial investment. Michigan was the Silicon Valley of that era in part because brilliant, adventurous entrepreneurs attracted investment from like-minded individuals with the means and foresight to bet on the future – now known as angel investors.
